Junior Instruction
Many parents ask, “At what age should my child start playing golf?” The answer is—as soon as they can walk! Get them around the game early and make it fun for both of you. There are plenty of years down the road to take the game seriously.
One of the best ways for a youngster to start golfing is with the proper equipment, setting them up for success and helping them develop properly.
We sell US Kids Golf equipment that is sized by your child’s height, complete with very small grips and lightweight clubs, allowing children to see success early in their golf journey. The US Kids Golf equipment fits kids from heights ranging from 36 inches to 66 inches tall.

Junior Golf Events
PGA Junior League at Page Belcher
Ages 5-13
Season Mid may – August
Includes:
- Weekly practice (evenings during week)
- Matches against other area Junior Teams (weekend afternoons)
- Team jersey and Swag
- Year end party
PGA Jr. League is a game-changing opportunity for boys and girls to improve and play golf. The program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals. PGA Junior League is designed to give your beginner golfer competitive experience as practices and matches are set up to teach our students to get the ball in the hole in fewer strokes.
PGA Junior League 9U
Ages 4-9 year old
Beginner to experienced golfer
Play a 6 hole match setup on a short golf course (holes 50-125 yards long) the kids can have success and grown their skills on the golf course playing a 2 person scramble format. We will have practices and matches against Mohawks 9U team.

The 9U league will not register online but rather contact Mark at [email protected] to signup for the team, 2025 is a pilot program for 9U and the team at Page Belcher and Mohawk wanted to get our kids into the program as soon as possible.
